We didn’t just show up to Sea Otter — we rode in.
Starting in Mill Valley, the crew pedaled over 150 miles down the California coast before rolling straight into the event. From there, we posted up at the Old Man Mountain Bikepacking Campout — hosting talks, hanging with riders, and putting our bikes through exactly what they’re built for.
Stay tuned for a video recap coming soon!
These are the bikes that made the trip — fully loaded, ridden hard, and on display throughout the week.
Built from the ground up for fully loaded riding. The Xtracycle OMNITIERRA is designed to handle big routes, rough terrain, and everything in between — with the versatility to go from daily miles to deep backcountry setups without missing a beat.
A trail-ready hardtail built for riders who want capability without complication. The Vanth brings modern geometry, confident handling, and a clean, low-maintenance setup to everything from local trails to loaded dirt adventures.
The do-it-all adventure machine. With a Pinion gearbox and Gates Carbon Drive, the 600ADX is built for long-distance reliability and low-maintenance performance — whether you’re commuting, touring, or heading out on your next multi-day ride.
Sea Otter, but a little different.
Instead of a traditional booth, we spent the weekend at the Old Man Mountain Campout — a space built around real setups, real riders, and real conversations.
From Thursday through Saturday night, the site turned into a hub for bikepacking rigs, gear breakdowns, and post-ride hangs.
Friday night at the campout
We wrapped the week with a series of informal talks around the camp.
Ryan Van Duzer, John + Mira shared stories from the road, insights from long-distance riding, and what goes into building bikes and setups that can actually handle it.
No stage. No script. Just good conversations.
MISSED US THIS TIME?
We popped up throughout the week — from the Gates booth to the campout and everywhere in between.
If you didn’t catch us at Sea Otter this year, don’t worry — we’ve got more rides, events, and meetups coming soon.
