With the Apollo, it’s as simple as ride and repeat — and when it needs a rinse, it’s actually just a rinse. The Apollo pairs Gates space-age belt drive technology with an internally geared hub to deliver smooth, reliable performance without the mess, noise, or constant tuning of a traditional drivetrain.
Forget moon-rock-caked components and post-ride cleanups that take as long as the mission. The Apollo shrugs off grit, weather, and everyday wear, letting you stay focused on the ride instead of the maintenance. From pavement and gravel roads to rough city streets, the Apollo is built to handle mixed terrain with confidence and consistency.
Whether you’re commuting, exploring back roads, heading out for an overnighter, or just riding for the joy of it, the Apollo gives you two ways to fly: flat bar or drop bar. Choose your cockpit, then roll smoothly from weekday missions to weekend expeditions.

Houston… there are no problems here. Designed for high performance with a low-maintenance mission profile, theApollo pairs an internally geared 11-speed hub with a Gates belt drive to eliminate the most failure-prone parts of a traditional drivetrain. No derailleurs to knock out of alignment. No dirt-caked cassettes. No greasy chains. Just smooth, reliable liftoffs ride after ride.
At roughly 24 lbs, the Apollo delivers confident handling on loose surfaces, responsive shifting, and dependable braking across changing conditions. Proof that low maintenance doesn’t mean low performance.

Choose drop bar or flat bar, and the Apollo delivers controls tailored to that setup. Purpose-matched shifters provide smooth, reliable gear changes while each cockpit shapes the ride feel — from nimble handling and steering precision with drop bars to increased leverage and confident control on rough roads or with heavier loads on the flat-bar setup. The result is composed, intuitive handling that keeps your hands comfortable and your attention locked on the ride.
Lose the grease, grime, and constant tuning of traditional drivetrains without sacrificing capability. The Shimano Alfine 11 internally geared hub delivers a 409% gear range that handles steep climbs, fast flats, and everything in between. Sealed internal gears ensure reliable performance in rain, dust, and grit.
A defining feature of all Priority bikes - The Gates belt drive replaces the traditional chain with a carbon-fiber tensile cord system originally developed for motorsports and refined for cycling. It won’t rust, won’t stretch, and won’t stain your clothes. In muddy, wet, or gritty conditions, a belt simply keeps working — rinse it off after the ride and you’re cleared for the next mission.
Light modulation, consistent feel, and dependable performance in all weather. The Apollo is equipped with powerful hydraulic disc brakes designed to inspire confidence on loose gravel, wet pavement, and busy city streets. Predictable braking control means smoother descents, tighter cornering, and less stress when conditions change mid-ride.
Fast-rolling yet durable wheel and tire setups give the Apollo its all-road versatility. Whether you’re rallying down a fire road, carving a gravel turn, or floating over cracked city pavement, the Apollo stays composed and efficient.
On the Apollo platform, you’ll find tubeless-ready 700c x 40mm gravel tires and tubeless-compatible WTB i23 rims
The Apollo frame and fork are also 650b compatible for riders who want to explore wider tire options.
The Apollo is designed to stay comfortable over long hours in the saddle. Thoughtful fit, vibration-damping components, and stable handling make it equally suited for weekday commutes, weekend gravel rides, and overnight missions beyond city limits.

Take flight on TI
Built for riders who want the lightest, smoothest ride feel in the Apollo lineup, the Apollo Titanium Drop Bar pairs the timeless performance of titanium with the efficiency and control of a drop-bar gravel cockpit.
Titanium’s exceptional corrosion resistance means it thrives in real-world conditions — from muddy back roads to the salty grit of winter riding. Combined with the Gates belt drive and internally geared hub, the Apollo Ti stays clean, quiet, and reliable with minimal upkeep. When the ride’s over, a quick rinse is usually all it takes to get ready for the next mission… maybe with fresh bar tape if you’ve really been pushing it.
Pound for pound, titanium offers higher tensile strength than aluminum or steel while naturally damping vibration for a smoother, more composed ride over long distances. The result is a bike that feels fast, comfortable, and refined on everything from long gravel days to mixed-surface routes.

You have questions. We have answers.
Why did you design the Apollo?
Gravel riding shouldn’t come with extra hassle. We designed the Apollo to make all-road riding simpler, cleaner, and easier to live with — without giving up the versatility riders want from a gravel bike.
With options including flat bar, drop bar, and titanium drop bar, the Apollo platform is built to handle pavement, gravel, and mixed terrain while cutting down on maintenance and prep. When the ride’s over, there’s no greasy drivetrain to clean or tuning checklist to worry about — just rinse it off and get ready for the next ride.
Why would I want a gravel-oriented bicycle like the Apollo?
A gravel-oriented bike gives you more freedom in how and where you ride. Compared to traditional road or mountain bikes, gravel bikes allow for wider tire clearance, which means more comfort, more stability, and a more forgiving ride — especially when the pavement ends or conditions aren’t perfect. Instead of limiting yourself to pristine pavement, a gravel bike opens up what you can ride and where you can go.
The Apollo takes that versatility and removes the usual upkeep that comes with it. Whether you choose flat bar or drop bar, the Apollo is equally comfortable on bike paths, back roads, city streets, and gravel routes, making it a great choice for riders who want one bike that adapts to different rides without extra maintenance or prep.
What is the widest tire I can run on the stock wheels, and can I swap to a 650b wheelset?
With the stock setup, the Apollo clears up to a 700c x 53mm tire, giving you plenty of volume for comfort, traction, and confidence on gravel and mixed terrain.
The Apollo frame and fork are also 650b compatible. Swapping to a 650b wheelset allows you to run wider tires at lower pressures, which can increase comfort and grip on rougher surfaces or loaded rides. The bike ships with 700c wheels, but riders looking to fine-tune ride feel or expand terrain options can easily make the switch by adding a 650b wheelset.
What’s special about titanium?
Titanium is prized for its naturally smooth ride feel and excellent vibration dampening, which helps reduce fatigue on longer rides and rougher surfaces. It’s also exceptionally strong for its weight and highly resistant to corrosion, making it well suited for year-round riding in wet, muddy, or salty conditions.
On the Apollo Titanium Drop Bar, titanium pairs beautifully with the belt drive and internally geared hub, creating a bike that’s comfortable, durable, and built to last for years with minimal upkeep. And yes — it also has a tendency to attract a few envious stares along the way.
Can I use a rack and fenders on the Apollo?
Yes, standard rear racks and fenders are compatible.
Can I change the gearing on the Apollo?
While we’re not able to change gearing prior to shipping, it is possible to adjust the gearing after purchase. On the Apollo, riders can swap the front sprocket to a 46T using the stock belt and rear sprocket to achieve a lower overall gear range.
If you’re interested in gearing options outside of the stock belt setup — including different sprocket combinations or belt lengths — we recommend getting in touch with our Customer Service team. We'll be happy to walk through compatibility, parts requirements, and what options make the most sense for your riding needs.
Does Priority offer a drop bar–to–flat bar conversion kit for the Apollo?
Priority does not offer a drop bar–to–flat bar conversion kit for the Apollo. That said, converting a drop bar Apollo to a flat bar setup is absolutely doable.
Because the conversion requires sourcing and installing a Shimano Alfine 11 flat-bar shifter, along with additional cockpit components — including a handlebar, grips, brake levers, and new cables and housing — we strongly recommend working with a local bike shop. A shop can help ensure proper compatibility, installation, and setup so the bike rides and handles as intended.
If you have questions about parts compatibility or want help deciding if a conversion makes sense for your riding style, our Customer Service team is always happy to help point you in the right direction.
"Reasonable price. Tons of versatile, commuter-friendly features, like an internal gear hub and belt drive. Lightweight. Zoolander-level good looks. Fun to ride on roads, gravel, and trails. Easy to clean and maintain."
"The Apollo is a sturdy, hard-working, and quiet machine that’s a very good choice for someone who wants a long-wearing bike they can set and forget, especially for the price."
"Priority’s signature is a grease-free Gates Carbon Drive belt (won’t rust either, which is amazing in coastal areas with salty air). Carbon means it also won’t break. And the care is literally a quick hose off."
"With excellent on- and off-road performance, Priority Bicycles' Apollo is the perfect no-maintenance, go-anywhere gravel bike."
"When a gravel bike means not only riding anywhere, but smiling everywhere... I’m looking forward to more journeys with the Apollo."
