The Sauce is here and it's f#%kinG Awesome.
The Sauce was inspired by retro mountain bikes with BMX flair that can destroy dirt, pound pump tracks, tear up trails, and handle beer runs to the corner store like a champ. This bad boy is a go-anywhere, do-anything, utilitarian mash-up that is fun to ride and simple to maintain. Think of it as an off-road cruiser bike, single-speed gravel bike, simplified mountain bike, or fun beater bike—that looks awesome and performs great. With modern geometry, a rust/grease-free Gates Carbon Drive belt, hydraulic disc brakes, 27.5” wheels, and internal routing for a dropper seatpost—The Sauce truly is the boss!
RIDING THE SAUCE: THE SIZZLE
About The Sauce
WHY WE MADE THE SAUCE
The Priority Sauce Ingredients
Priority means low maintenance—super-smooth Gates Carbon Drive belts, internally geared hubs, rust-resistant frames, rims, and spokes. It’s what makes the Continuum Onyx the best commuter, the Coast the best beach cruiser, and the Current the best all-around E-Bike. But what about pulling those features forward to just make your ride more fun?
If you love getting out on a bike, mixing in some trails, mashing through city streets—even hitting a pump track—in a really nimble, responsive machine, it’s The Sauce. It really does spice up every ride. If you're familiar with a klunker, or retro mountain bike, The Sauce is similar but a lot more. The ingredients are high quality and the finish is smooth, at an unbelievable price for the feature set. Plus, it's all backed by Priority’s unmatched customer service.
What makes The Sauce so special, you ask? It's a spicy mash-up of old and new. Think of it as an off-road cruiser, a single-speed gravel grinder, a retro mountain bike, a bombproof commuter, or fun bar bike. The Sauce does it all—and it does it with lots of flavor!

With a Gates Carbon Drive belt instead of a standard chain, there's no rust, no grease, and no routine maintenance to deal with. Strong enough for automotive application but specifically designed for the rigors of everyday cycling. Unchain your ride and free yourself from dirty hands, skipping chains, and greasy pant legs.
The Sauce features tubeless-ready Sun Ringle 27.5" rims with Goodyear Peak 2.25" tires that roll fast on pavement and provide plenty of grip if you want to push it on the pump track or get into other off-road antics.
If you're looking to go from street riding to dirt track destruction in the same afternoon, add a dropper seatpost and you'll be money—The Sauce comes internally routed for one. Oh, and the super comfy seat will keep your undercarriage happy.
Retro styling with modern geometry results in a comfortable yet nimble ride. The integrated handlebar stem not only adds old school flavor, but it also simplifies the cockpit and lightens up the bike.
Hydraulic disc brakes are super reliable, work in all weather conditions, can handle varied terrain with ease, and require very little maintenance.
A rust-resistant aluminum frame and rigid fork keep the weight down while serving up a stiff single-speed MTB that will make your local trails way more fun. The Sauce weighs just 25 lbs (with pedals and kickstand).
Designed like a retro mountain bike, The Sauce is great for crushing trails, having a blast on pump tracks, riding to the bar (or coffee shop), mashing through the streets, or whatever else you can think of. It's a fun no-frills bike that's ready for anything—and everything!

You have questions. We have answers.
Why did you design this bike?
The question really should be, "Why didn't you design The Sauce sooner?" Honestly, our entire team LOVES this bike! It's a super fun, no-frills, go-anywhere, do-anything, mixed terrain mash-up machine that's just an absolute blast to ride! It might not be your only bike, but trust us, it's a bike you'll be stoked to have you in your quiver!
Where should I ride this beauty?
You can ride The Sauce on the street, hardpack or gravel terrain, a pump track, or light mountain bike trails. It's a go-anywhere, do-anything bike that's lots of fun and always ready for a good time!
Can I change the gearing?
While we only ship The Sauce with stock gearing (46/22 with a 115T belt, or 57 gear inches), it is possible to customize the gearing after purchase. We suggest working with your local bike shop to install any components.
If you want a higher gear, the stock belt is compatible with the 46T front sprocket, and as small as a 19T 9-spline rear cog. 46/20 is a fairly fast gearing at 64 gear inches.
If you want a lower gear, you will have to change to a longer belt. A 118T belt allows you to fit a rear cog from 24T up to 28T using the stock 46T front sprocket for as low as 45 gear inches.
Can it fit wider or narrower tires?
The Sauce frame can clear up to 27.5" x 2.4" tires, and the rims fit as narrow as 650b x 40mm tires.
Can I set this bad boy up tubeless?
Yes indeed, the rims and tires are tubeless-compatible. The Sauce does not ship set-up tubeless, so you will still need tubeless rim tape, tubeless valves, and sealant to complete the set-up. Get in touch if you have questions!
Can I install a dropper seatpost?
You know it! The Sauce has routing for a covert dropper, and uses a 30.9mm diameter seatpost size.
Is it compatible with a suspension fork?
For sure! The Sauce uses a straight 1-1/8" steerer, and is suspension-corrected for a 100mm suspension fork—like the RockShox Recon Silver RL or SR Suntour Raidon XL-LO-R.
Can I run it as a fixed gear?
It's certainly possible to set up The Sauce fixed. It requires some special additions, but you can use the stock rear wheel. Gates makes a special cog that's compatible with a 6-bolt disc brake rotor interface. You’ll need to eliminate the rear brake, flip the rear wheel around, remove the brake rotor, and install the cog where the brake rotor was. You'll also need to change to a CDX belt and CDX front sprocket to make sure they're strong enough to run fixed. With the right amount of rotor spacers, the belt alignment works out perfectly with the stock front bottom bracket. Click here to get in touch with our support team for further assistance.
