The Cooper’s signature feature: a Gates Carbon Drive belt that replaces the traditional chain. Clean, quiet, and ultra-durable, it won’t rust, break, or stain your hands and clothing.
Three speeds is all you need. Gear 1 for hills, Gear 2 for flat cruising, and Gear 3 to pick up the pace. Shimano’s Nexus hub is known for reliability, smooth shifting, and minimal maintenance—perfect for everyday riders.
Crafted from SAE 1020 steel and tested to rigorous ISO and European standards, the Cooper’s diamond frame offers strength, durability, and a more responsive, efficient position for riders who like a sportier feel. At just 27 lbs, it’s still light enough for everyday carry and use.

Designed for city streets and bike paths, the 700c x 32mm tires are quick and responsive while still offering enough width for comfort. With clearance up to 45mm, you can add racks or fenders with ease.

Is the Cooper an aggressive fit?
No—the Cooper’s diamond frame is designed to balance efficiency and comfort. Its geometry puts you in a slightly sportier, more responsive position than the Carmen, giving you a smooth, athletic pedal stroke without straining your back or wrists. Since it has a higher top tube, be sure to check the size chart for the right inseam size.
Is the Gates Carbon Drive good in the rain?
The Gates Carbon Drive Belt and internal gearing are as weather-proof as you are! Sometimes in a lot of grit, you might hear some rubbing when the belt dries- it’s just a little dirt- spray some water on and 99% of the time it goes away while continuing to be super smooth and simple!
