Returns & Warranty
RETURN POLICY
Priority Bicycles will accept all non final-sale returns within 30 days of purchase, assuming the bicycle and/or accessory is returned in like new condition, with the original packaging, and from the contiguous United States. The buyer is responsible for all return shipping and reboxing costs. If the bicycle and/or accessory is returned for any reason other than product defect, the buyer is responsible for actual outbound shipping costs as well.
Priority Bicycles ships all bicycles at a lower rate to the buyer as an added value benefit. The actual shipping cost is generally higher than what the buyer pays. Hence the refund processed to the customer will be less the actual outbound shipping costs which were incurred by Priority Bicycles to deliver the bicycle to the customer.
Please keep in mind that electric bicycles, the 600X, and other larger (off-road or larger sized models) bikes that ship in oversize packaging do incur higher than normal shipping rates due to their size and weight. Fees paid for assembly and adjustment are non-refundable. Courtesy credits given for bike shop labor is non-refundable. Returns must be re-packed in the original box with all of the original parts and packing materials (required). You must protect all of the tubes and the handlebars/stem so that the bike does not come back damaged. Please ensure that nothing is loose in the box. We do expect the bike to come back in good condition, we hope you can understand that! If it doesn't, we may need to assess damage fees.
Product defects must be confirmed by either photograph or a professional bicycle mechanic. Returns must be pre-authorized by email, info(at)prioritybicycles.com.
Final-sale bicycles, either defined as final sale on the product page or from a sample sale with a discount greater than $49 are not eligible for return. If there is a defect or shipping damage, Priority Bicycles will either arrange and pay for local repair, or exchange/refund the bicycle, at the discretion of Priority Bicycles. This return policy is valid only in the contiguous United States (lower 48 states). All other regions have no return policy due to prohibitive shipping costs.
For orders sent outside of the contiguous US, shipping fees start at 150 USD for bicycles and 60 USD for accessories. Please reach out to our customer support team to determine shipping costs to your region. Orders shipped outside of the contiguous United States are considered final sale and cannot be altered once shipped. Some regions require duties prior to delivery. Once shipped, the shipping company will contact you to arrange advance payment of taxes/duties before the bike is delivered. If you reject the delivery, the fees incurred by the shipping company will be deducted from any refunds.
Priority Bicycles will always work with customers in any region to ensure that the bicycle they receive is free of defects and shipping damage.
GENERAL WARRANTY
Frame and Fork
Priority Bicycles provides its bicycle frames and forks with a five (5) year warranty against material and workmanship defects. This warranty does not cover bicycle components, parts, accessories, paint or decals, and can be void if the bicycle was improperly assembled, has been modified or has been subject to beyond normal wear and tear. This warranty does not cover return shipping to Priority, nor does it cover any labor involved in frame, fork or other component replacement. Product defects must be confirmed by either photograph or a professional bicycle technician. This warranty is valid only for original owners, is non-transferable, and is only valid for purchases shipped to the contiguous United States (lower 48 states). The five year term starts on the date of purchase.
E-Bike Components
We provide a two (2) year warranty for the electrical components on all of our e-bikes. This includes motor, battery, and displays for the bicycles to keep the system running. For all e-bike components a return label will be provided to you to ship the warrantied part back to our warranty department. Replacement parts cannot be sent out before the part is returned to us or a fully refundable warranty deposit is completed. This warranty does not cover modified parts, wear and tear, neglect or abuse and is at the discretion of Priority Bicycles. This warranty is valid only for original owners, is non-transferable, and is only valid for purchases shipped to the contiguous United States (lower 48 states). The two year term starts on the date of purchase.
Priority Bicycles/174HUDSON Parts and Accessories
Priority Bicycles also provides a one (1) year warranty on all small parts branded Priority Bicycles or 174HUDSON. This includes but is not limited to brakes, wheels, spokes, stems etc. Products in question for warranty will need to be confirmed by Priority Bicycles or a professional bicycle technician. The part for which a warranty claim is made may need to be shipped back to Priority Bicycles and a replacement may not be released until the warrantied part is shipped back or a warranty deposit is completed. This warranty does not cover modified parts, normal wear and tear, neglect or abuse and is at the discretion of Priority Bicycles.
All other parts warranties will be handled by their respective manufacturer(s) directly.
The bicycle should be professionally assembled to ensure your safety. Please note that wheels can come out of true (straightness) and spokes loosened during shipping. It is important that the spokes are re-tensioned upon assembly, and again after break-in (100-200 miles). We recommend wheel tensioning and a bicycle safety check at regular intervals.
This warranty is valid only for original owners, is non-transferable, and for purchases shipped to the contiguous United States (lower 48 states). The one-year term starts on the date of purchase.
*Be sure to have your order number and serial number on hand when reaching out about a warranty. Your order number was emailed to you after you purchased the bike. Your serial number is found on a barcode on the underside of the bike.

- Blocking cookies in your browser. Most browsers let you remove or reject cookies, including cookies used for interest-based advertising. DEFINITIONS
ASSEMBLY
Bicycle assembly should be performed or verified by a professional bicycle mechanic. In addition, it is important to tighten all of the bicycle’s components before riding, and to check that these components remain tightened before each ride. These parts include (but are not limited to) the cranks, chainring bolts, spokes, pedals, stem, seatpost, and other screws and components. Please check the braking systems before each ride.
BELT DRIVE
All riders will appreciate the many advantages of the modern belt drive system used on the Priority Bicycle. Not only is it completely maintenance free and non-greasy to the touch, it is also feels a lot smoother and is more silent that a normal chain. The special hi-tech construction of this belt ensures many years of easy, rust-free cycling without the need for maintenance or significant adjustment. Aggressive riding or a sudden excessive force applied at the pedals by a stronger or heavier rider might cause the belt to skip a tooth which is undesirable. This will not happen during normal cycling when a steady, even pressure is applied to the pedals. Should your belt skip, please contact customer support right away.
MAINTENANCE-FREE & LOW-MAINTENANCE
Maintenance-free and low maintenance means that our bicycles are free from regular or routine maintenance. We define regular or routine maintenance as adjustments to gears, brakes (coaster brake bikes only), and chain. With Priority, the gears and brakes (coaster brake bikes only) can often go several years without needing maintenance. Our belt drive requires no lubrication and can last several times longer than a standard chain. Eventually, all bikes need maintenance, and the more you ride your bike, or the more your bike is exposed to the elements, the sooner it will require maintenance. Please consult your owners manual for more details on bicycle maintenance.
