During these uncertain times, please know that our small but mighty team is here for you! As long as FedEx is operating, and our teams in New York and Pennsylvania can safely work, we’ll be shipping bicycles and accessories from our PA facility on a daily basis.

As part of social distancing measures, many people are turning to cycling for fresh air, exercise, as a family activity, or alternative transportation. A bicycle has quickly become a vital tool as we tackle the essential tasks in our daily lives, as well as maintain our physical and mental well-being.

If you live in NYC, we're now offering CONTACTLESS BICYCLE PICK-UP at our TriBeCa showroom (174 Hudson Street)—a safe way to receive your fully-assembled and sanitized bicycle while cutting down on person-to-person interaction. Available M-F from 9am-5pm.

Here's how it works: Select NYC Pick-Up as your shipping option at checkout; we’ll assemble your new bicycle within 2-3 business days, sanitize it thoroughly, schedule a time for you to come get it, and securely lock it up in front of our showroom 15-minutes before you arrive (you’ll choose the lock code, so there’s no confusion; the lock is yours to keep). It's a simple, sanitary way to receive your new bike.

As always, since safety is our priority, here's a few things to keep in mind during this unique time:

  1. If you're new to riding, pre-plan your route. Bike riding starts and ends with Google Maps. Attach an inexpensive phone holder to your handlebars and turn up the volume or pop in one earbud, set your destination, and ride. Google Maps set to “cycling” will give you optimum bike path routes. These can be different than your normal walking or driving patterns.

  1. There are more riders and new riders out there. More and new riders means new riding patterns. Make sure to obey the rules of the road and bike path etiquette. Let’s remember that we're all in this together, and we should take our time and be smart about how we reach our destinations.

  1. Be seen and be heard. Don’t ride at night without lights, and make sure you have some sort of sound device like a bell or high powered horn. Also, especially for us New Yorkers - all-black looks cool, but it certainly isn’t the most visible!

  1. Use your head. As always, whether you're hopping on ride share, using your own bike, or getting a new one - wear a helmet.

Please make sure to follow the advice of health care professionals for general safety and sanitation tips. If you have questions, simply want to connect with a real human during these isolating times, or have any other essential tips, please shoot us an email (info@prioritybicycles.com) or text/call us (917-819-1665).

Remember, we’re all in this together and we will prevail!
