The Priority Apollo Gravel - Bicycling
Houston... there are no problems here! Designed for high performance with a low maintenance promise, the Apollo is the first gravel grinder with an internally geared 11-speed hub belt drive and drop bar shifters. There are no derailleurs to lock up, no dirt-caked cassettes, and no chains to grease. The Apollo is our lightest and fastest multi-speed model at 24lbs—very light for an IGH—delivering stability on loose surfaces, responsive shifting, and all-conditions stopping powers. The Apollo boasts tweaks from our initial launch accommodating a lower gear for climbing and lighter overall weight. The Apollo Ti weight 23.5lbs.

Get rid of the hassle of grease, grime, and tune-ups of traditional derailleurs without sacrificing performance. The Alfine 11 system offers a 409% gear range, enough to winch up steep climbs or to fly down dirt roads. With no gear overlap, the Alfine 11 system efficiently delivers power with the all-weather durability and low maintenance of an internally geared hub.
The signature feature of all Priority Bicycles—the rust and grease-free Gates Carbon Drive Belt. Using the same technology designed for motorsports, the carbon fiber tensile cord belt drive has been refined for bicycle-specific application. Where a chain requires frequent lubrication and cleaning in off-road environments or sloppy conditions, a belt drive stays efficient while lasting many times the life of a chain. Without grease, it won’t stain your hands or clothing—just give it a post-ride rinse and you’re ready for your next adventure!
Integrated braking and shifting sits on the right hand lever, allowing the familiar feel and benefits of drop handlebars.
Light, consistent modulation, all-weather performance, and easy adjustment. The 174HUDSON cable actuated hydraulic disc brakes deliver superb braking in all riding conditions, without the complications of a full hydraulic system. Compressionless housing delivers exceptional lever feel, boosting confidence and control rounding tight turns on loose dirt and feathering in and out of traffic.
Our Apollo and Apollo Ti feature flexible, fast, and durable tires and rims. Perfect for cranking down a fire road, digging into a turn, or rallying over pitted city streets.

Take flight on TI
Technically, the advantages to titanium are clear—it delivers a light and strong ride with pound-for-pound higher tensile strength than aluminum and steel, and it dampens vibrations for unmatched ride quality and durability over time. This means you get high-end performance from your Apollo Ti that lasts for years. Titanium has excellent corrosion resistance, handling the mud you can throw at it on trails to the salty grit of a winter commute. With the Gates Carbon Drive belt and internally geared hub, you're only a rinse away from looking new. Well, maybe some bar tape, too.
About the Apollo Ti
Riding the Apollo Ti Upstate
Riding the Apollo Ti
The name Apollo began with the "11" hidden in the name—a nod to the 11-speed Alfine system. As we worked on testing and prototypes, we also learned more about the Apollo 11 launch and lunar landing. It was a human achievement driven by innovation, R&D, and an intense desire to press onward. Each step was challenging, but the passion outweighed the pressure of the unknown.
The marketplace has asked for a drop bar internally geared bicycle for years. It's been the talk of independent builders and bicycle enthusiasts. We looked at that as a challenge of our own to create a bicycle that could attack the gravel and rally on roads, all in a low maintenance package that needed no more than a hose off to get back on the road.
What began as a project name became a calling to create—and it shows up in the design.
We recommend sizing based on your leg inseam. To properly determine your inseam, measure from the top of your crotch to the ground with your shoes off. Please watch the below video and contact us any time with questions!

That's a real Priority team member ready to answer all your questions. Even if we aren't riding with you, we've still got your back!
You have questions. We have answers.
Why did you design the Apollo?
The demand for low maintenance bicycles has extended far beyond recreational riding. We wanted to take our low maintenance promise and apply it to performance, letting our riders have more fun in all-road environments. The Apollo adds speed and durability in the popular gravel format. Plus, when you are done, just hose off your bike and ride again.
Why would I want a gravel-oriented bicycle like the Apollo?
The gravel format is increasingly popular. It has a forgiving geometry that offers a much larger flexibility than you'd see in a traditional road bike or cross bike. You can take an Apollo on trails with confidence as well as ride it as an aggressive commuter balancing speed and comfort.
What if I want a 650B set-up?
We designed the Apollo frame and fork to accommodate both wheel sizes—but you would need to purchase the wheel set.
Where should I ride the Apollo Ti?
Gravel of all kinds: smooth, chunky, loose—you name it—packed dirt, road, bike baths, rail trails, mountain passes, basically anywhere that’s not a full-on mountain bike trail, or deep sand... or underwater (the frame could probably handle it, though).
What’s special about titanium?
Titanium offers a more supple ride quality and superior vibration dampening, as well as resistance to corrosion in even the most extreme environments. It also has the effect of eliciting envious stares from onlookers.
Can I use a rack and fenders on the Apollo Ti?
Yes, standard rear racks and fenders are compatible.
Can I change the gearing on the Apollo Ti?
While we are not able to change the gearing prior to shipping, it is possible to change the front sprocket to a 46t using the stock belt and rear sprocket for a lower gear range.
What is the widest, and what is the narrowest tire I can fit on the Apollo Ti?
45mm would the widest compatible tire, but it depends on the specific tire and tread, so we suggest working with a local bike shop to determine whether a wider tire will clear the frame. 28mm tires would be the narrowest recommended.
