Duzer’s Bikepacking Setup
Bike packing, touring, and dirt in general is hard. You get grit in your hair, on your face, and caked on your legs. Nothing is better than hitting a stream to get that patina of dust off. Now your bike can have that same feeling. With the combination of an enclosed Pinion C1.12 gearbox and grease-free, carbon fiber-reinforced Gates Carbon Drive Belt, your bike is ready to go anywhere, and just a quick rinse away from being clean.
Designed with the adventurer in mind, the 600x has a cross and trekking-friendly geometry in mind, with a load of braze-ons for extra gear. After testing across the country and out our back door, the 600x features include

We recommend sizing based on your leg inseam. To properly determine your inseam, please watch the below video. The 600X has a 29" wheel set, so it runs bigger than a traditional mountain bike. When determining size, please make sure inseam and height are within the recommended ranges below.
Note, women tend to have long limbs and short torsos compared to men, which may put you between sizes. For example, you could have a 31" inseam but be under 5'8 in height. When between sizes, it is best to size down.
Questions? Send us your inseam and height for a recommendation: Info@PriorityBicycles.com

R & D normally means Research and Development. Sure we did that - crafting the 600x features with our internal team who have spent thousands of miles on trails, our friends at Pinion and Gates, but we also have some secret weapon R & D's.
Try Ryan Van Duzer whose feedback and direction gave us unique insight into what he has encountered riding across the country, up Baja, or even camping in his home state.
Oh, and for some hardcore testing, try Riding the Divide! Duzer set out from Montana riding over 2000 miles with over 100,000ft of climbing to New Mexico. His only problem? A worn out tire. So we spec'd that up. As one of the most challenging rides in the world, it was a perfect proving ground for the new 600X.
The 600X is designed to take your gear, ride anywhere, and simply keep going.
There are rear rack mounts, seat stay eyelets, and eyelets on underside of top tube for a bolt-on frame bag. You could mount 6 bottle cages, or you could solid mount a frame bag with 4 more bottle cages - whatever setup is best for your rides!
There are additional eyelets on the downtube and toptube for mounting cargo cages. This is one of the first production bicycles with bottle cage mounts on the seatstays. There aren't many mountain bikes this capable with rear rack mounts.
The bike also has cable routing for covert dropper seatposts if people want to upgrade for a more trail-ready setup.

Non-overlapping Gears
You have questions. We have answers.
How come the 600x only has 12 gears?
The 600% gear range is massive and fits everything from long haul climbs to flat packed fire roads. The 12 gears are non-overlapping and sequential, so you don’t have the overlap you experience with a front and rear cog. The 12-speed Pinion is tested on 1000+ mile rides with mixed terrain and elevation.
Will the belt break on a ride?
If you are in an unsupported long bike packing trip, it is wise to have a backup belt as a precaution. With proper care of your belt, you can ride, rinse and repeat. That’s really the benefit of the system! We really recommend having the belt because you never know what could happen and it is simple to have a backup.
