THE EIGHT NAMED "THE PERFECT LOW-MAINTENANCE COMMUTER" BY MADEMAN

The new Priority EIGHT  was reviewed by Made Man:

"The commuter bike just got a major upgrade, and it’s actually pretty simple in design.

Priority Bicycles announced this week the launch of the Priority Eight, a 26-pound, low-maintenance and high-performance bike equipped with alloy fenders and Continental tires that’ll keep it going all year long. This bike boasts an aggressive geometry that’s built for speed and agility, but nonetheless offers the same comfort and accessibility that someone riding to work every day wants. It comes with an eight-speed Shimano internal hub, powered by a grease-free Gates Carbon Drive belt system in place of a traditional chain, and dual-piston hydraulic Tektro disc brakes for increased stopping power. The initial run of the bike sold out in 10 days in an exclusive pre-sale to the Priority community, but a second allotment of the Eight is now being offered in three sizes to the public for a limited time online; deliveries will be made in March.

For $799, the Eight beats out competition sold at and well over $1,400. So, for the cost of just over six months riding the NYC subway, or only three months on the DC metro, you can have a whole lifetime of easy commuting and never have to play sardines in a claustrophobic, underground box ever again."
