07/21 DENVER PICKUP

BE READY TO ROLL AT 9:00 AM

Our group bus pickup will take place at:

3122 W 6th Ave, Denver, CO 80204

Please arrive with your bicycle fully assembled and ride-ready — your setup should be prepared exactly as if we were beginning the ride directly from this location.

We will be loading all bicycles and any gear attached directly to them into a U-Haul for transport to Salida. Riders and immediate personal items will travel separately on a charter bus.

To reiterate: we cannot transport extra luggage, bike boxes, or additional gear during the trip. Riders should plan ahead carefully and only bring what they intend to carry for the duration of the route.

Space will be limited to:

  • Your bicycle
  • Your bikepacking gear setup
  • Immediate personal essentials

Please pack accordingly.

Ride Breakdown & GPX Routes

Below is the full day-by-day breakdown for the ride, including daily mileage, elevation gain, start and finish locations, and direct links to each route segment and GPX file. The routes and downloadable files can be found directly below this section.

Please review these routes carefully before arriving. Riders should download and save all GPX files for offline use, as cell service will be limited throughout much of the route.

We will continue refining and updating the routes leading up to the ride, so we recommend downloading the GPX files to your cycling computer the night before each day to ensure you have the most up-to-date versions.

GRANTS RETURN & DENVER DROP-OFF

Our return transportation from Grants, New Mexico → Denver, Colorado will depart on: July 29 at 8:00 PM from

Smith’s, 700 E Roosevelt Ave, Grants, NM 87020

Please plan to arrive at the pickup location with enough time to reorganize gear and load bicycles before departure.

All bicycles and gear attached directly to them will once again be loaded into a U-Haul for transport back to Denver. Riders and immediate personal items will travel separately on a charter bus.

The group will likely arrive back in Denver at:

3122 W 6th Ave, Denver, CO 80204

Approximately 5:00 AM on July 30

Please note that arrival timing may shift depending on route conditions, loading time, traffic, and stops along the drive back.

Rider FAQs & Trip Information

Below are some additional details and answers to common questions for riders joining the Tour Divide Section 5 Drop-in Ride. Please review everything carefully before departure, and continue checking back as more trip details and logistics are finalized leading up to the ride.

How do I access my exclusive friends & family discount?

Please use the same email address you used to apply for the ride during checkout, along with code DIVIDEFAM25, to access your exclusive Friends & Family discount.

Please note:

  • Only one bicycle per rider/order — if more than one bicycle is purchased, the entire order may be refunded and access to the code may be removed.
  • The code is valid for purchase per rider.
  • The discount will remain active through the end of August - We wanted to leave a little extra time after the ride in case you see something the team is riding and decide you’d like to pick one up for yourself afterward!

What bikes will the Priority team be riding?

The Priority crew will primarily be riding the Priority 600ADX — this bike was literally designed around the demands of the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route!

That said, there is no required bike for the ride. Riders are welcome to bring whatever setup they feel most comfortable riding for long-distance gravel bikepacking.

Which members of the Priority team will be joining the ride?

There will be 5 members of the Priority Bicycles team riding alongside the group throughout Section 5, representing teams across marketing, product design, and customer service. And of course… Ryan Van Duzer will also be riding this section as part of his full Tour Divide journey!

Will there be a rider group chat?

Yes. We will create a rider communication group closer to the event for trip updates, logistics, questions, and general ride coordination.
