No worries! The clicking is totally normal. All 3 speeds click, especially in gears 2 and 3 They have always done this. It's just how the mechanism works. Some people say the clicking gets softer as the hub wears in, either that or you just stop hearing it. Either way, in a month you won't hear it anymore!

Our tires are puncture resistant, not puncture proof. We wish we could provide that guarantee, but thorns, glass, and potholes sometimes get the better of our goals to be low maintenance. With that being said, our tires have a puncture resistant liner built-in that makes them much tougher than normal bike tires and more resilient against everyday debris in the road. As long as you keep them pumped up regularly (we recommend every 2-3 weeks) they’ll hold up very well up against all the sharp stuff along the way.

Yes! Each bike comes standard with a kickstand!

Belt drives generally last 2-3 times longer than a regular bike chain. The greatest benefit of having a belt is that you don’t have to lubricate it and it will never rust, but you do have to hose or wipe it off every once and again. Road debris can get stuck in the teeth of your belt and start to wear away at other components in your drive train. This is when you’ll usually see any type of deterioration.

If your gears are skipping (often dropping from gear 2 to gear 1), you need to fix the gear alignment. The fix for the gears slipping is super easy and once your gears are properly aligned the problem won't come back! Check out THIS GUIDE for the fix. Please note that the Priority Classic gear alignment is not the standard alignment for Shimano hubs, it’s a unique alignment for Priority Bicycles.

Our bikes come about 95% assembled. All you have to do is install the handlebars, front wheel, pedals, front brake, and seat post. We include all the tools necessary to build the bike and have a detailed instructional video to walk you through the entire build (above). We recommend having a bike shop build your bike or, if you choose home assembly, to have a bike shop safety check your bike before you ride. We also have additional instructional videos at www.prioritybicycles.com/instructions.
