Current Battery Range Extender

Double the range of your Current e-Bike to make it the ultimate car replacement, long distance commuter, or all-day cruiser.  Shipping with a custom rear rack, the Current Battery Extender integrates into the existing Current system with simple household tools, offering up to 100 miles of uninterrupted pedaling.

The range extender battery is 574w (compared to 500w on the integrated battery). The total weight of the battery and rack is 9 lbs. Rack Dimensions: 17" x 16".

To optimize battery life for both your main battery and your Range Extender, we recommend keeping the main battery disconnected from the bike when not in use.  With most external lithium-ion battery banks, there can be parasitic drain from leaving the two batteries connected to each other in an idle state.
