COAST COLOR SAMPLES ON THE WEST SIDE HIGHWAY
As we enter the last week of our Kickstarter campaign for the Coast, we were really excited to receive color samples today! Although it was particularly gloomy and cold in NYC, we bundled up and took the new bikes out to the West Side Highway. Our team definitely got some strange looks wearing winter coats and riding beach bikes, but we were too stoked on the new bikes and how well they ride to notice.
Dave took the white Step-Through frame for a ride, Lauren was on the sunset rose, and Connor had the matte black diamond. We made some tweaks to the matte black, opting for a more blacked-out approach with matte stem, seat post, wheels, and spokes.
The sunset rose had a nice dual-personality, with a brightness in the light and a more rich rose color under cloud cover.
The Coasts were outfitted with the Gates Carbon Drive system making for a super smooth ride, as well as a lot of head turning.
